Nick Berman was already well known as the creator of ground-breaking architecture and interiors when he decided to apply his unique aesthetic to a line of contemporary residential furniture. His background as a fine artist and designer has allowed him to shape the collection until it evolved into the award-winning line shown across the US and the world. Know as much for the whimsey and detail of his architecture as he the elegance of his interiors, Nick continually reinvents the collection while maintaining its distinct BR pedigree.

Gennaro Rosetti grew up in the design world, going back more than fifty years in his family’s own shops. His designs display a thorough knowledge of furniture history and style that compliments his expertise with wood, joinery, proportion and technique.  His mastery of craftsmanship is evident in every piece we design and something he passed on to his son. 

Jake Rosetti has brough a youthful spark to the collection. Following in his father’s footsteps, he spent time learning the craft of woodworking and developed the passion for design.  His distinct vision has influenced many of the more recent BR collections. His mastery of color, tone and fabric along with techniques of furniture building he brings a welcome youthfulness and passion to the pieces. His collaboration has brought new life and energy to the collection

After years of experimentation and collaboration, it seems only natural to share our aesthetic.  The search for materials and techniques is exhaustive and deliberate.  We strive for just the right balance, an air of refinement without ever sacrificing comfort.  Underlying everything, we insist on the highest level of craftsmanship that a close look at the pieces will reveal.  Since our inception, we have produced high quality to-the-trade designs in our own factory in Los Angeles.  We have a passion for the process and strive to continuously innovate with designs that we are honored to share with you.
